Formed in 1996, the Buildings & Grounds Department is responsible for the maintenance of all Township owned parks, cemeteries, buildings, pedestrian pathways, Village streetscapes, flowerbeds and landscaping. Maintenance activities include but are not limited to: mowing, trimming, weeding, edging of landscape beds, pruning, trash collection and disposal of trash for the parks and throughout the Village, watering, maintenance of irrigation systems, Village decorations, snow plowing and snow removal, and maintenance of Dept. trucks, vehicles, equipment and tools necessary to the job.
