FULL TIME FIREFIGHTER POSITION

Cascade Charter Township Fire Department is accepting applications for the position of full time Firefighter.

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • High school graduate or GED
  • Minimum 18 years of age or older
  • Michigan certified Firefighter II
  • Michigan certified hazardous materials operation level
  • Michigan certified basic EMT
  • Current CPR card and AED certified
  • Valid Michigan Drivers License with less than three (3) points
  • Minimum of four (4) years fire service experience as a firefighter
  • Completed State of Michigan Certified Driving Training Program
  • Residency shall be maintained within a 20 mile radius of the Township boundary upon start of work.

All certifications must be submitted with your application.

Cascade Charter Township Fire Department is on a 24 ¼ hour shift work schedule. Starting salary range is $35,000 - $42,000 depending on qualifications; with benefits (following a 90 day probationary period).

Cascade Charter Township Fire Department is accepting applications for the position of full time Lieutenant.

Applications must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • High school graduate or GED
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Michigan certified Firefighter II
  • Fire Officer 1 certified or Fire Science Degree or equivalent
  • At least six (6) years of fire service experience as a firefighter
  • Michigan certified hazardous materials operation level
  • Michigan certified basic EMT
  • Current CPR card and AED certified
  • Valid Michigan Drivers License with less than three (3) points
  • Residency shall be maintained within a 20 mile radius of the Township boundary upon start of work.

All certifications must be submitted with your application.
