CASCADE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION MEETING

August 8, 2002

Cascade Township Offices Conference Room

All members were present.

Once again, Susan Roeder led the meeting on establishing a mission statement and identifying goals/strategies.

GOAL: Raise Money

Objectives: Long lasting permanence

Continuous growth of fund

Establish action plan

Promote philantrophy

Educate the community

Opportunity to leave a legacy

Create corporate campaign

Strategies: Cultivate community donors

Acknowledgement

Personal contacts/focus group/marketing

Point of entry fundraising/first opportunity

Create grant guidelines/timelines

By-laws, policies and grant guidelines need to be established.

Susan Roeder will continue her presentation at the August 22^nd meeting.
