PUD Ordinance - Meadowood Trails #8 of 1998

CASCADE CHARTER TOWNSHIP

Ordinance #8 of 1998

A zoning ordinance amendment regulating the development and use of land has been adopted by the Township Board of the Charter Township of Cascade. On May 27, 1998, the Cascade Charter Township Board adopted an ordinance which regulates the Meadowood Trails Site Condominium Planned Unit Development Project. The Ordinance amendment is provided in its entirety below:

CASCADE CHARTER TOWNSHIP ORDAINS:

Section 1. Amendment to the Meadowood Trails PUD Ordinance

1. The following described property shall be amended into the Meadowood Trails Planned Unit Development and be attached to, and become part of, Unit 13:

That part of Unit 16, Thornapple Estates, SE ¼, Section 17, T6N, R10W, Cascade Township, Kent County, Michigan, described as: BEGINNING at the NW corner of said Unit 16; thence S88 degrees 25’00"E 50.08 feet; thence S 01 degrees 42’30"E 188.73 feet; thence N 66 degrees 52’03"W 55.10 feet to the SE corner of Unit 13, Meadowood Trails; thence N 01 degrees 42’30"W 168.46 feet along the easterly line of Unit 13, Meadowood Trails to the place of beginning. Contains 8,930 square feet.

2. The following described property shall be amended into the Meadowood Trails Planned Unit Development and be attached to, and become part of, Unit 19:

That part of Unit 16, Thornapple Estates, SE 1/4; Section 17, T6N, R10W, Cascade Township, Kent County, Michigan, described as: BEGINNING at the SW corner of said Unit 16; thence N 01 degrees 42’30"W 57.00 feet along the Westerly line of Unit 16; thence S 66 degrees 52’03"E 55.10 feet; thence S 01 degrees 42’30"E 34.86 feet; thence S 89 degrees 26’10"W 50.01 feet along the South line of said Unit 16 to the place of beginning. Contains 2,296 square feet, and

That part of the SE ¼, Section 17, T6N, R10W, Cascade Township, Kent County, Michigan, described as: Commencing at the Se corner of Section 17; thence N 01 degrees 42’30" W 908.28 feet along the east line of said SE ¼, thence S 89 degrees 26’10"W 549.99 feet along the Southerly line of Thornapple Estates to the PLACE OF BEGINNING of this description; thence S 01 degrees 42’30"E 150.00 feet; thence S 89 degrees 26’10"W 50.01 feet to the SE corner of Unit 19, Meadowood Trails; thence N 01 degrees 42’30"W 150.00 feet along the easterly line of said Unit 19; thence N 89 degrees 26’10"E 50.01 feet along the Southerly line of Thornapple Estates to the place of beginning. Contains 7,500 square feet.

The inclusion of this additional property into the development does not allow the creation of any additional condominium units.

Section 2. Effective Date

These PUD Ordinance amendments shall become effective upon publication in the Grand Rapids Press, a newspaper of general circulation within Cascade Charter Township.

Section 3. Effect

The Cascade Charter Township Zoning Ordinance, as amended, and the remainder of Ordinance #5 of 1989, except as otherwise expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect.

The foregoing Ordinance amendments were offered by Board Member Van Strien, supported by Board Member Johnson. The roll call vote being as follows:

YEAS: Carpenter, Goodyke, Johnson, Kleinheksel, Timmons, Van Strien

NAYS: None
