Industrial Tax Abatements (IFTs)
IFTs are given to industries to encourage their growth within the Township. The total value of the applications received and approved by the Township Board in 2008 was $9,372,367 of taxable value. For 2009 Cascade Township has 48 abatements in effect, totaling $32,401,849 of taxable value.
