This year's free event will take place on September 20th from 5 - 9 p.m. at the historic Stone House
Cascade, Mich., September 8 - Cascade Township invites community members of all ages to the annual Cascade Heritage Festival on Saturday, September 20th from 5 - 9 p.m. at the historic Stone House.
Now in its fifth year, this festival celebrates the unique character and history of our area with a variety of food, drinks and activities people of all ages can enjoy.
"This event provides a wonderful opportunity to showcase Cascade Township's rich history while also bringing together the community to celebrate our vibrant and unique character," said Township Supervisor Grace Lesperance. "I look forward to seeing friends and families come together to enjoy local food, music and activities that have been carefully planned."
This year's festival will include:
- A beer, wine and cider tent featuring a specialty crafted pre-prohibition pilsener from Thornapple Brewing Company and wines from International Beverage
- Local food vendors including pizza from Thornapple Brewery, ice cream from Jam 'N Bean, hot dogs and more!
- Live music from the band, "Simply in Time"
- Guided tours of the Stone House
- Family-friendly activities including Dog Dock Diving (yes, dogs are invited too!), a scavenger hunt, face painting, bounce houses and more
- Access to the Cascade Museum from 5 - 7 p.m. and Cascade Christian Church Chapel
