Cascade Invites Residents to Share Feedback on Service and Facility Needs Via Public Meeting, Online Survey
Cascade Township, Michigan, Nov. 14, 2018 – All Cascade Charter Township residents and business owners are invited to provide input on Township services important to them as part of the Township’s space needs and facilities study.
The Township will hold a public meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29 at the Wisner Center, 2870 Jack Smith Ave. At the session, community members will have the opportunity to provide input regarding current services and future needs to help the Township prioritize what services are critical for them.
“This study is looking at the Township holistically, and our goal is to gain insight on what services are important for our residents, so we can prioritize the resources necessary to offer them moving forward,” said Township Manager Ben Swayze. “Hearing from our residents is incredibly important, whether they have concerns to address or just want to offer their support.
“We are hopeful to obtain a solid understanding of what our constituents value in terms of services we offer, and use that information to develop a plan of action for the future of the Township.”
Residents are also invited to take an online survey to provide input, available under ‘What’s Happening’ at Cascadetwp.com. The 15-question survey prompts users to provide information regarding:
Township facilities visited
Impression of those facilities
Services used in-person
Additional services desired
The survey will also be available for residents to participate in at the November meeting.
Once feedback is collected, the Township will host a second public meeting to share all data and a proposed plan of action. The second meeting is anticipated to be held in mid-to-late January.
