Hotel License

At its meeting on May 8, 2024, the Township Board of the Charter Township of Cascade adopted Ordinance No. 24 - 6, “An Ordinance to Regulate the Licensing of Hotels”. The purpose of the Ordinance is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of Township residents and visitors by requiring and maintaining adequate standards for establishments providing accommodations to transients and guests within the Township.

Hotel Business License Administrative Policy

Cascade Charter Township staff and the Kent County Sheriff's Department hosted a Webinar to discuss the requirements for submission of a complete application. The goal is to help operators understand the requirements to receive approval for your Hotel Business License. Following the staff presentation, there was a Q&A session that will be used to compile a FAQ this will be posted and updated as more questions are received.
